After a snowfall in Northern Michigan this weekend, it might take longer than normal for our crop of morels to rise to the occasion. How's is the harvest in Southern Michigan going?

The entire LP should be producing morels of one color or another, blacks are pretty much done in my area in SW MI. grays and yellows are up right now. [ Post made via Transformer Prime ]

This is my first year looking (upper peninsula). I went out a few days ago to a location given to me by a relative (within 1'4 mile accuracy) but didn't find any despite being told he had picked several. I know I might be looking in the wrong spots but would really like to know if they are even out yet. The location I looked in is in cornell. I also looked near Marquette but came up empty handed. Only thing i found were I believe the beefsteak morels and only a couple. Anyone that can tell me if they are out now I would GREATLY appreciate it!!!
