Discussions on Morel Mushrooms. Please do not post your finds in this forum.

Do not give specific areas where mushrooms have been found. Refrain from naming street names, Business names, government buildings, shopping centers, pasturelands, when specific directions are given to a location, or any place with an address. Naming a County and or State is fine and will provide enough info for any hunter to get an idea if mushrooms are being found in their area.<br />Click here for more info: Respecting other Hunters

That's how I found the morel motherlode this season. I'm sure there are natural signs in your yard, or down your street that will cue you in to when the morels are fruiting as well.

Lilacs blooming, leaves on oak as big as a mouse ear, size of the mayapples, knee high, etc. etc.

hope it helps!

LOL Chuck. It only looks that way. :) I can make a month's worth of short attention span YouTube videos in one day, depending on how I film and edit them. or, it can be one very long unedited video that nobody watches.

According to my videography professor at college the maximum average attention span for a single clip is only 10 seconds.

You're welcome skinnybiker, I'm glad the video helped. It was my old boss who told me about the lilacs way back before I ever hunted and gathered morels, plants, or anything of the sort. A coworker at the same shop told me about the BTA's up north, and another about the elms down here.

That was a great shop to work at, the boss was a motorhead too, MOPAR. LOL!
