stuffed morels: cream cheese to taste crab meat mayo parmasean cheese bread crumbs for topping. soak shrooms in white wine for 1 hour then stuff with above ingredients to taste. bake for 20 min at 400. YUM

If I was to give it a try, I think I'd use " Smoked Fish "
When they're up, it's time to go Pick'n, If they're not, then it's time to go Fish'n !!!! If neither are here, it's time for a Cold Beer !!!

Based on your idea I used a tiny bit of smoked trout instead of crab. It was sooooo good and didn't drown out the mushroom flavor!
