Black Trumpets are abundant this year. I've dried about 8 or 10 big baskets of them. I've been flavoring rice with them. Excellent. After measuring your rice, salt butter and water just add a couple of handfulls of crushed Trumpets. Sure adds a nice flavor.

Wish I could find em in those quantities, but I did manage a few handfuls today. Biggest ones of the year.

Congrats on the trumpets all I found after they were dried is about 2 oz but gonna give the rice thing a try sounds wonderful
