after rinsing a batch of smaller blacks i slit the side and stuff them with softened cream cheese then dip them in drakes batter mix and deep fry them. when we do this they never get a chance to cool off before they get eaten, everybody ends up with a burnt tounge because they are so good

Never thought of that one and I try so many things I have a compost bin outside my kitchen window so I can toss the failures... poppers someday if I can just get enough

That sounds great..I love poppers...but never thought of doing the morels like that...I always do my old favorite way...saute in butter with a little fry magic coating. Thanks for recipe.
