Sloppy Joe


5 lbs. browned and drained ground chuck or mixture of beef and turkey.
1 Can store bought sloppy joe mix
1 cup ketchup
3 Tbsp. Molasses
2 can’s tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
.5 Teaspoon garlic powder or 1 glove garlic
1 Tbsp. Paprika
2 Teaspoons oregano
4 Tbsp. Worcestershire
4 Tbsp. Yellow Mustard
4 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp. Rice Wine Vinegar or cider vinegar
1.5 Large onions diced.
2 Green Pepper diced.
1 Package of cherry tomato’s
Salt & Pepper to taste

Brown the chuck, onions, peppers and garlic in a large pot, drain and return to stove. Add tomato paste to meat and cook for 4 min, add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 1½ hours until you have the desired consistency. These are best if made the day before, stored in the fridge and reheated the next day in a crock pot.
