Saw a beautiful 8 point, only 20 feet away.
Problem was it was standing just outside the camper window, Saturday no less.
I think I could have opened the door and he would have come in and watched TV for a while.
Sunday morning saw 3 doe and a fawn. No takers.
Sunday night saw another doe and a fawn. The doe was a shooter but the fawn was very dependant on her. Every step momma took the fawn took one also. Had to let that one slide. Headed back up Thursday night.
Oh well it aint over till its over.

It’s nice to know he’s around. Looks like some nice genetics there.
It was thrilling just to see him up close.
He has about an 18 inch spread, and looks to be a 2 ½ year old.
May let him slide. I’d like to let the population increase a bit or at least make sure there is another like him around.
For my wife however she hasn’t taken a good wall hanger yet. She has some real nice spikes and a few doe under her belt. She loves both archery and rifle, and loves to tell deer stories to the guys. I'd like to see one of hers on the wall next to mine.
