Anyone on here do any metal detecting and could offer some advice? Looking to take the plunge and buy my 1st detector. Hubby and I have been doing our research and feel fairly confident with the direction we're heading but seeing that they cost a pretty penny, I want to make sure I've considered all aspects of making that decision.

Whites.... A better one filters out ALOT of useless metal.

jon...avatar is me 55 pounds extra on my gut and 40+ of fireburn morels..from the Sleeper Lake burn...found the fuzzy foot and thanks to greysRDbest for knowing what it was!
