Today 4/22/08 is a milestone for Northern Country Morels.
We now have 1000 Registered Members!!
This site began its debut in February of 2005 where we ended the season with about a dozen members. Now 3 years later the doors are busted wide open with close to 400 new members just this season alone and still counting!
Thank you all for your contributions to the site and being a part of it all. Without all of you we wouldn't have the wealth of information we have today.

I would like to extend my thanks as well! Our members have went the extra mile to make our new members feel welcome and share there knowledge. I have to say I have never seen a better atmosphere anywhere on the net. Mad props to all you guys and gals that make this place feel like home! Keep up the great work!! Wow Mike it is looking good bro!!

I remember the old days. Just a few of us around chatting bout anything and everything. Was like sitting round a bonfire every night.
Another thing I have noticed here is that my post count has jumped big time this year. I have an average of 11.684210526 posts per day in April.

Mike, I think it was 3 or 4 weeks ago I pm'd you about membership going up due to morel season starting. At that time I think it was around 700 members. Now the site is over 1000 and growing. It looks like your baby is all grown up now. Congrats 
If you want to shoot big bucks then don't shoot small ones!

I noticed yesterday it was only 16 members short.
I thought it would happen today.
Congratulations Mike. You started nice friendly place to visit and thanks to the Moderators for helping to keep it that way.

this is a great site thats why i stay on here year round!!!in my opinion this site has the nicest friendliest people of any web site i have visited.and i dont see it changing any time soon.you are all great and mike thanks for such a great site!!!and props to hog as well.i would also like to throw a invite out to everyone to stick around after shroom season a few of us stick around and talk fishing hunting or what ever else we find interesting.again great site and great people

I just want to thank everyone for all the nice comments. Your words are very much appreciated but all you need to give yourselves a big hand as well. Without you we wouldn't have the information that we have today. All of you make NCM the fun, friendly, family oriented site that we are today.
