Hi everyone, I share your passion for morels and look forward to hunting for them every spring. I am new to this site and hope to share my love for the outdoors with everyone. The journey is as important as getting to the destination.

Welcome to NCM Charlie! If you are just starting to learn about or are an experienced morel hunter, first start out by learning the host trees. Next learn the difference between a true morel and a false morel. Also read through some of the various information on the homepage. The search feature will also be one of your best sources for exact information you are looking for. If you have any more questions or just want to chat, strike up a conversation or jump into one that is already going. Also, don't forget to read the RULES and the FAQ's.I actually go to Birch Run to pick when I get a call from my cousin's grandfather.

Don't forget to check out the FAQ's and Rules.
ZERO TOLERANCE SPAM RULE!! Click here and read or you could be BANNED!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!
There's 3 types of people in da world, those that can count, and those that can't.

Hey fellow Yooper, I'm in the eastern u.p. near the Soo. Wish it would rain and warm up. Things aren't looking good here. Hope your season is great.

piggydunit- I am a yooper, central region. and never seem to find shrooms, but tons of ticks. When I do find them, should there be a lot in one area or say like 4-5 and then move on?
