Found a mess of these this weekend after picking up some pointers at a demo our local farmer's market was doing with a fungi group. I'm a little undecided on them. What are everyone else's thoughts? Any great ways to cook them? I like them... but I'm not sure that I LOVE them like most of the mushroom heads I talked to.

I just discovered them a week ago, and I love them! I've been seeing a lot of them around here in MA lately. I just sliced them up and sauteed them in canola oil or sunflower seed oil. Then sprinkled a little salt on them. I ate some last week, and again for supper tonight.

I like them, but they seem a bit more crumbly than L. volemus. I've only ate them a few times and simply sateed them up in butter.
