Ive been following the Miwilderness videos on youtube for quite a while now. Just wanted to say thankyou for taking the time to spread the knowledge that so many are forgeting these days! Very enjoyable to say the least! Mushroom jack also has put out some good ones.

I know it's just a pipe dream, but it would be nice to see folks getting back in touch, working with their hands making things from scratch out of natural materials like "wood", fixing things with wrenches instead of computers, utilizing nature as a resource, and working the land.

These are the things that set this country apart and made it strong in the first place.
They are the things that will keep it strong in the future.

I hope and pray the knowledge isn't lost in the headlines and reality shows.

In the past few years I've seen a strong desire of folks wanting to, and getting back to the basics. Folks have wanted to for a long time, but now they are.

IMO places like this forum and YouTube have a lot to do with it. Not too many people going to the library and reading outdated books with limited information these days.

Computers and the internet are great resources if we use them properly.

thanks again,

Roosevelt

You have been a busy man lately Roosevelt, thanks.

My wife said "watcha doin today"? I said "nothin". She said "you did that yesterday". I said "I wasn't finished".

Couldnt agree more Roosevelt!!! I have been growing my own garden for years and my wife being a vegatarian is my best help. We store up enough beans and squash throuout the season that we eat great all winter.

So many people today are worried what every body is doing on facebook and twitter. I dont and wont ever have an account myself. I have to much to loose!

Rain now brings me joy in two ways. The garden and the woods. With the rain yesterday and the upcoming storms tonight i am getting ready to find my first chicken and get tore up by musquitos lol.

on the hunt!

All the rain promises...and more. LOL! I look forward to the rain and we got a much needed soaker the other day. Veggies are doing good and the mushrooms should be up and about too. Woohoo!
