 There are many different types of stretches one could do, but what are a few of the ones you chose before going on a mushroom hunt? what different type of exercises could I preform while mushroom hunting to help me get into better shape? What is a good way to keep your heart rate up while shrooming?

well you can load up a backpack with a bunch of various items and do a bunch of squats. squating will only benafit your perspective and bring you closer to your mushrooms. water weighs alot. any kind of stretching will benifit you cause you dont know what you will find yourself in. but make sure you do your legs good. finding shrooms willl raise your heartrate but to find them i beleive one has to be calm and relaxed. maybe when your walkin downs trails or passing through spots fast, power walk and load your backpack full of rocks.
Blewits are better.

I stretch my ankles by lowering my heel while standing on a log holding onto a tree. Also kick my leg up on a bumper & bend over. As for a workout....load up on water.....replace with morels on the way out. Camelback backpack is a must! [ Post made via HTC EVO ] 
jon...avatar is me 55 pounds extra on my gut and 40+ of fireburn morels..from the Sleeper Lake burn...found the fuzzy foot and thanks to greysRDbest for knowing what it was!

i need to try wearing some ankle weights once in a while... not necessaraly while in the woods,,, but in an attempt to build up stamina when i do hit the trails!!!

Hey Bill, I know what your ankle weights will be, and they'll weigh nothing by the time you get out of the woods. LOL !!
When they're up, it's time to go Pick'n, If they're not, then it's time to go Fish'n !!!! If neither are here, it's time for a Cold Beer !!!
