I've never had grouse... but can you eat woodcock? They seem reallllly small. I'm a bird lover/watcher, so I don't think I could shoot one. But I'm just curious, do people eat them?

Can't believe how many grouse we saw today. Out on the 4-wheelers and must have chased up over 50  Should be good hunting!!!

Grouse hunting is fantastic this year!!! The freezer is looking good! Anyone else out hunting birds??

Been seeing a few along the roads but have'nt had the time,legs or inclenation to hunt them.

there is a group of woodcock banders in michigan, if you locate a nest you could let them know so they could band the chicks
