Man, that's a big list. I'd stick with a few like chants, black trumpets, voluminous milkies, hericium, king boletes, chestnut boletes, oysters, sulfer shelf.

 I think that list is called a book.

If I were you Tony I would start by picking up the "National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Mushrooms", it's a good all around guide to get you started, then just stick around here and we will be glad to help ya out as the season progresses, there are many of us here who harvest all year who will be more than happy to help ya out with any questions.

Just remember...... you can eat any mushroom ONCE

All are good ideas but I like Shroonmans advice.I started with a few several years ago and keep adding them as I discover new ones.Sure it means I look at alot of different shrooms,do alot of research and now have a nice shroom library. But Ive learned alot, ate alot of shrooms, met some good people and turned into a Myconut.Shrooming has become a fascinating hobby and when the kids leave I will have room for a laboratory. :bigrin2: Stay tuned more shrooms are coming, only yesterday I found a bunch of Wine Caps!!

Mmm, wine caps and cinnabars, there's a couple real good summer shrooms.

Horse and Meadows are summer shrooms as well, but do require prior knowledge of toxic impostors.

I found some Torks the other day, but they were way too far gone. My horses must have jumped the fence, because so far they're a no show.

The smaller varieties of Puffballs are a good summer shroom to learn on, fairly easy to ID, as long as you know what an unopened amanita looks like.

Oddly enough, mid to late summer is a prolific time of year for shrooms, especially boletes, but there are a lot of toxic shrooms that grow in the summer.

Fairy rings are a real good shroom to learn on, Marasmius oreades, but you gotta watch out for the impostors, which really do grow right in with them, and can be mistaken easily if you don't check every little shroom.

Theres alot of great info and pics on Mushroom Observer and Mushroom Expert. They are the 2 other sites I use almost as much as NCM.There data base of pictures is invaluable when trying to ID new shrooms.Kind of like an online fieldguide thats interactive.Im Shroomin Yooper on there also.
